This morning I was reading a chapter from Thomas Watson’s The Godly Man’s Picture and came across an absolutely fantastic sentence. Discussing our stupidity as a result of the fall, Watson said:
If men were not besotted, if their fall had not knocked their brains out—they would see that it is the most rational [...]
